Getting to the Seiser Alm Start your holiday well prepared
The Hotel Bellavista is situated in Compatsch on the Seiser Alm, which forms part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. To preserve this unique natural landscape, access is regulated. However, arrival and departure are straightforward for hotel guests – we’ll be happy to assist you with the necessary arrangements.
Note Traffic regulations on the Seiser Alm
Access to the Seiser Alm is permitted for hotel guests on their arrival and departure days without any time restrictions. A valid access permit is required. Following pre-check-in and the submission of your vehicle registration number, we will provide you with the necessary access authorisation for the St. Valentin – Compatsch road section. The permit is issued by the local council and is valid for your arrival and departure days.
During your stay, the vehicle must not be used between 10:00 and 17:00. This ensures that the Seiser Alm remains a peaceful and natural retreat for the future.
By car How to get here
Coming from the north, take the Klausen exit on the A22 Brenner motorway, follow the road towards Bozen and turn left at Waidbruck. Then follow the signs for Seis and the Seiser Alm. Our Hotel Bellavista is situated directly on the Seiser Alm, in the village of Compatsch on your left.
Coming from the south, take the Bozen Nord exit on the A22 Brenner motorway, follow the road towards Brenner and turn off at Blumau into the Schlerngebiet (left-hand tunnel). Then follow the signs towards Völs and on to Seis. The access road to the Seiser Alm is situated between the villages of Seis and Kastelruth.
Getting here By bus and train
You can also reach the Seiser Alm easily by public transport without a car. If you are travelling by train, please let us know your arrival time. We’d be happy to organise a taxi or shuttle bus to collect you from Brixen, Waidbruck or Bozen railway stations.
