The Hotel Bellavista welcomes you in Compatsch, on the western side of the Seiser Alm at around 1,860 metres above sea level. Here, you can enjoy an exceptional panoramic setting with views of the Sella Group, the Langkofel and Plattkofel peaks, the Rosszähne mountains and across the Schlern all the way to the Bozen valley basin.

The impressive views are just one part of what makes a stay at the Bellavista so special. For generations, this family-run hotel has stood for warm hospitality, personalised service and relaxing holidays surrounded by nature. In summer, hiking and cycling trails start right on our doorstep; in winter, ski slopes, cross-country trails and winter walking routes are just a few steps away. Where is the Hotel Bellavista and how do you get there?

The Hotel Bellavista is situated in Compatsch on the Seiser Alm. As private traffic is restricted on the high-altitude pasture, as a hotel guest you will be issued with an access permit for your arrival and departure. Alternatively, we would be happy to organise a shuttle or taxi service from the railway stations in Bozen, Brixen or Waidbruck.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Your room will be available from 2.00 pm on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, please check out by 11.00 am. Late check-out is possible – subject to availability – for an additional charge of 50% of the daily rate.

What services are included in the room rate?

The room rate includes:

  • a generous breakfast buffet featuring South Tyrolean produce,

  • if you’ve booked half-board, a 4-course set menu of your choice with a salad buffet,

  • Wi-Fi and

  • free outdoor parking directly at the hotel.

Does the Hotel Bellavista have a spa area?

Yes, a cosy spa area is the perfect place to relax. For a small fee, you can enjoy two saunas, a steam room and a hot tub – perfect after sporting activities on the Seiser Alm.

How does half-board work?

With half-board, you can enjoy a generous breakfast buffet in the morning and a varied four-course dinner in the evening, with a choice of dishes and a salad buffet.

What are the cancellation terms?

Cancellations must be made in writing and are only valid upon confirmation. The deposit will be retained. For cancellations made up to 4 weeks before arrival, 60% of the cost of the stay will be charged; up to 1 week before arrival, 80%; and for later cancellations, no-shows or early departures, 100%. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

Are dogs or pets allowed at the Hotel Bellavista?

Pets are only allowed on request, as there is already a dog in the house. In exceptional cases, accommodation may be arranged for an additional charge of €22.00 per pet per night.

How close are the ski slopes and lifts to the hotel?

The Hotel Bellavista is situated right in the Seiser Alm ski area. Ski slopes, lifts and cross-country ski trails are all in the immediate vicinity – ideal for a comfortable, car-free skiing holiday.

Can you go hiking straight from the hotel?

Yes, there are numerous hiking trails, scenic routes and mountain walks that start right on the doorstep. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely stroll or a challenging hike up to the alpine pastures – the Seiser Alm is a true hiker’s paradise.
